Unfortunately we cannot accept any items encased in tape. We suggest recycling the items or throwing them away.

The needs of our customers change. We also have limited space so if an item is not needed on a consistent basis, we will remove it from our list.

If dropping off at a drop-off point, staple your paper bag, or seal the poly bag. If dropping off at a collection event or our headquarters, keep the packing peanuts in a garbage bag or box until we transfer them into our own containers.
Collection Points & Campaigns

2 paper grocery bags of materials are accepted per person.

When dropping off at collections sites, please bring your items in paper bags. If you don’t have paper bags, you can transfer your items directly into the bin.
When dropping off at our headquarters, you can bring your items in any receptacle. Plastic or reusable bags will be returned to you. Boxes will be kept if you do not need them.

The collection point is either full and unable to take anymore donations, or EcoShip is on a pause. Check our calendar and social media account for more information!

EcoShip now offers a year-long collection program for businesses, schools, and apartment/condo complexes. Email us for pricing.

Bulk Drop-offs

If you have a bulk drop off or your local collection point is full and cannot accept your donation, you can drop it off at our new headquarters in West Town, located at 1947 W Chicago Ave, Chicago, IL 60622 anytime during business hours. Appointments are no longer necessary.

Yes! Every small and large amount is accepted.

Boxes (gently used and brand new) are only accepted at our headquarters. We will not accept them at collection events or collection sites due to space restrictions.
