EcoShip Community Events

EcoShip Events are gatherings we host, organize, or take part in with community partners. These include collection drives, sustainability meetups, and larger fundraising events that support our mission.

Events may take place at the EcoShip store or out in the community, depending on the event. Each listing includes location details so you know where to find us.

Featured Event: Fitness Class Fundraiser

Join us for a fitness class at CrossTown Fitness in Roscoe Village. 100% of the proceeds from each ticket sale will benefit EcoShip.

    Thursday, September 10th
    6:00pm-7:00pm

    Sort packaging materials and join us for a social hour at a local bar/restaurant after.

    September 20th
    12:00pm-2:00pm

    Volunteer and sort packaging materials with your family! It is not required to bring your family, but we are opening up this opportunity to families with kids/teens who want to be more involved.

    Saturday, September 26th
    11:00am-1:00pm

    Exchange up to 10 books, puzzles, and/or games! Co-hosted with That’s Not Garbage.

    EcoShip is hosting Feed the Cart and Recycle Coach for an educational program. Stop by to hear about reuse and recycling in Illinois and to engage in a Q&A. RSVP’s required - spots are limited.

  • Clothing Swap (Halloween Edition)

  1. Tabling (starting at $125*)
    Our team will have trivia questions, educational programming, and more information about our organization.

  2. Collection of Materials (starting at $325*)
    Our team will collect up to 15 items on our list of accepted items.
